During this year, 2019, one of my favorites football clubs of the world is celebrating a hundred years of life. Valencia Club de Fútbol has organized a lot of celebrations for this reason: football games of legends, posters, a special t-shirt, and many more (even illustrated artworks).
I didn’t want to remain oblivious to all this. I wanted to create some illustrations of some of the Valencia’s most recognized football players: David Albelda, Amedeo Carboni, Españeta (not a player but a special man at the club), Gaizka Mendieta and Waldo. I’m not saying they are the best because that is something personal, but they are legends for the club.
To make this illustrated tribute I tried to use different techniques to see different results: watercolors, digital tools, different softwares,…

These are the illustrations I made for this personal project. For other project I made some Paper Toys also related with this project (three legends of the club like Santi Cañizares, Mundo and Mario Kempes). Which player would you like to see in the gallery? Please, let me know!
